The Bank Policy Institute and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs invite the submission of papers for our 9th annual conference on Bank Regulation and Supervision. An in-person conference is planned. The purpose of the conference is to bring together academics, market participants, and policymakers to discuss the latest research on the design and impacts of regulation.

We invite papers that explore all aspects of these topics including but not limited to:
• Impact of liquidity regulation on liquidity risk management and the structure of bank balance sheets
• Interaction of liquidity regulation with contingent liquidity provision, including central bank liquidity
• Regulation, technological change and other factors driving credit formation by banks and nonbanks

• Implications for competition and merger policy
We welcome theoretical, empirical and policy-oriented papers.
