8th University of Connecticut Finance Conference

The Finance faculty at the University of Connecticut School of Business invites interested researchers to submit papers to be considered for presentation and discussion at the 8th University of Connecticut Finance Conference. Unpublished empirical or theoretical papers in all areas of finance will be considered.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Lauren Cohen, the L.E. Simmons Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

CONFERENCE DETAILS: The conference is a full day conference and will be held in person at the University of Connecticut Graduate Business Learning Center in downtown Hartford on Friday, May 12 2023. For presenters and discussants, we will pay for up to two nights stay at the Conference hotel. The final program will consist of seven papers (in addition to the Keynote presentation).

TO SUBMIT A PAPER: Go to https://risk.business.uconn.edu/finance-conference/call-for-papers/ and follow the instructions on the website. There is a $50 USD fee per submitted paper. Submitted papers will be reviewed by members of the conference program committee. The deadline for submissions is January 16, 2023. We will notify authors of accepted papers by the end of February, 2023.
