Call for Papers
2023 Northeastern University Finance Conference, Boston, MA
Friday, May 12 – Saturday, May 13, 2023

Following the success of our past conferences, the Faculty in the Finance Group of Northeastern University's D’Amore-McKim School of Business are pleased to invite submissions from all areas of finance to be considered for presentation at the 2023 Northeastern University Finance Conference. The conference will be held at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and will start at noon on Friday, May 12th and end around 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 13th. There will be an evening conference reception on Friday.

We encourage both theoretical and empirical contributions and seek papers that have not previously been presented at other conferences. All papers will be reviewed by our Finance faculty. We typically select papers written by those at an early stage of their career, and then choose more senior researchers as discussants. The final program will consist of about eight papers. Please see programs for the previous conferences on this event page:

We will pay for (i) domestic economy airfare up to $500; (ii) up to two nights stay at the conference hotel; and (iii) conference meals and the conference reception for paper presenters and discussants.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, December 5, 2022. We will notify authors of accepted papers by early March 2023.

First, pay the submission fee of $100 at the following site:

Where you will receive a receipt for your payment. If the submitting author is facing a financial hardship to pay the submission fees, please email us at financeconf@northeastern.edu with the subject “Request for Fee Waiver” to discuss a potential fee waiver.

Please, send this receipt (as a pdf file) and your paper (also a pdf file) by email to financeconf@northeastern.edu. Please submit only one paper per presenting author.

In March, 2023, we will contact invited participants with details on the program and travel logistics.
