2nd Annual FIASI-Fordham Student ESG Research Competition Results


The Fixed Income Analysts Society (FIASI) and the Fordham University Center for Research in Contemporary Finance and the O’Shea Center for Credit Analysis extend their congratulations to the first and runner up award winners in the 2nd annual student research competition on environmental, social and governance (ESG) focused investments and innovations.

First prize winner--Fresh Start or Fresh Water: The Impact of Environmental Lender Liability submitted by Aymeric Bellon, University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
Runner up winner--Climate Change and the Partisan Divide, and Exposure to Climate Risk, submitted by Song Zhang, Ph. D. Candidate, Boston College.

Three submissions also received honorable mentions. These include:
-Three Aspects of Green Bonds, submitted by Jitendra Aswani, Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business.
-The Effect of Federal Policies on Households’ Exposure to Climate Change Risk, submitted by Ahyan Panjwani, Yale University.
-Determinants of Doing Good: CSR Champions, submitted by Alona Bilokha, Mingying Cheng and Mengchuan Fu, Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business.
