Call for Nominations and Indications of Interest - Editor, Financial Management Journal

Description

The term of the current Editors of Financial Management (FM), Utpal Bhattacharya, Bing Han, and Rajkamal Iyer, expires in October 2022. The FMA seeks a new Editor that will phase into the editorship in Fall 2022 and assume complete responsibility by October 2022.

This is an attractive opportunity for established or ascending scholars to affect knowledge in the profession, satisfy the need for high-quality journals in the discipline, and advance the Financial Management Association.

Financial Management serves the profession by publishing significant new scholarly research in finance that is of the highest quality. The principal criteria for publishability are originality, rigor, timeliness, practical relevance, and clarity.

A Search Committee has been formed and is seeking individual candidates or a team of candidates for the position. If you have interest in applying for this position, or know of a qualified individual or team that you would like to nominate, please submit your expression of that interest or nominations to the FM Editor Search Committee c/o Michelle Lui at mlui@usf.edu.

The committee will begin active deliberations shortly and will consider expressions of interest as they arrive until May 31, 2022. The committee will solicit additional information from qualified candidates in early June.

Please direct any questions to Michelle Lui at mlui@usf.edu or directly to the members of the search committee.
