ENTREPRENEURSHIP ISSUE FORUM. Join us Thursday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. CST for the Entrepreneurship Issue Forum, “Entrepreneurship and Access to Support.”

When entrepreneurs strike out on their own, they often leave behind the salary and benefits that an employer provides. Many entrepreneurs become responsible for health care, retirement savings, and other benefits that they need—and that their families and their employees depend on, as well. This responsibility can be especially challenging for entrepreneurs who have little savings to draw on and for whom access to a safety net is particularly important.

In this forum, we will hear from researchers, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders with insight into the current U.S. social safety net landscape and its impact on entrepreneurship. They will share potential solutions to existing problems and opportunities to offer entrepreneurs more support.
