Assistant Professor of Finance
The Department of Finance and Management Science in the College of Business at Washington State University is seeking candidates for Assistant Professor of Finance at the Pullman campus. This is a full-time tenure-track position. The anticipated starting date is August 16, 2018.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates for the assistant professor position must have completed a Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field from a nationally or internationally recognized university by August 2018. Qualified candidates must demonstrate research potential to publish in the field’s premier journals. A commitment to excellence in teaching and demonstration of teaching effectiveness are also required.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will be required to teach four courses per year (typically two per semester) in the corporate finance, investments, and/or financial markets and institutions areas, conduct high quality academic research in Finance, and serve the Department, College and University as needed.

The Department of Finance and Management Science has a research oriented faculty and offers one of the largest undergraduate business programs within the College of Business. The Department also offers a vibrant Ph.D. program with the support of the School of Economic Sciences.
