Finance Department Chair & Professor

The department chair leads the strategic initiatives of the department and is responsible for the operation of the department, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, supervision, and mentoring; carry a reduced teaching load. The department chair will serve as a member of the School's Executive Committee and will report to the Senior Associate Dean of the School. The compensation package is commensurate with qualifications.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a Doctorate in finance or a related discipline applicable to teaching and scholarship in the finance area, and should have a distinguished and ongoing record of both teaching and research that would merit appointment as a tenured full professor in the Department of Finance in the Farmer School of Business.

DESIRE: Strong applicants should have demonstrated effectiveness in an administrative capacity and have the ability to interact with a wide range of constituents including faculty, students, administration, alumni, and the business community.
