6th HEC-McGill Winter Finance Workshop
Call For Papers

March 8-11, 2018, Sunshine Village (Alberta, Canada)

This is a call for papers for the 6th HEC-McGill Winter Finance Workshop.

We encourage the submission of academic papers on all facets of finance. The number of participants is limited to ensure an informal atmosphere conducive to open and lively discussion around the presented papers. The last two editions of the workshop included participants from Boston College, Boston University, Chicago Booth, Houston, LBS, Maryland, MIT, Northwestern, Minnesota, Toronto, UBC, UC Davis, UCLA, UCSD, USC, and Washington University.

LOCATION: The workshop will take place in the Canadian Rockies, at 7,200 feet in Canada's first national park. It is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The conference venue is the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, which offers ski-in, ski-out capabilities for direct access to the slopes.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Please e-mail a pdf file with your paper to hecmcgillworkshop@gmail.com with proof of payment. The submission fee is 50 USD and should be paid at http://ezregister.com/events/22512. The closing date for submissions is November 19 and participants will be notified of the programme selection by December 15.

FURTHER INFORMATION: A workshop fee will be charged to cover expenses relating to conference facilities and a conference dinner. In the past, the fee has been approximately 150 USD. Travel and hotel expenses are not covered. The closest airport is Calgary International Airport (Alberta). Drive to the conference venue is about 90 minutes.
