In cooperation with the La Trobe Business School in conjunction with Monash University, the University of Queensland, and the Victoria University of Wellington, the Financial Economics Network (FEN) is pleased to announce the 2018 Financial Markets & Corporate Governance Conference. This eJournal is available to all subscribers at no charge and contains abstracts of the meeting papers with links to the full text in the SSRN eLibrary.


The Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Conference 2018 was organized by La Trobe Business School in conjunction with Monash University, the University of Queensland, and the Victoria University of Wellington. The conference took place at the City Campus (CBD) of La Trobe University on 5 to 7 April 2018 with the PhD Symposium on 4 April 2018. The theme of this year's conference was "Governance, Information and Financial Markets".

All presenters at the conference were invited to submit their papers for publication in a special issue of Pacific-Basin Finance Journal. The Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, published by Elsevier, provides a specialized forum for the publication of academic research on capital markets.
