Institute of Global Finance (IGF) is an influential organization that works with a number of eminent scholars as well as researchers at various international institutions such as the IMF, the Bank for International Settlements, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Bank of England and the Asian Development Bank. The series features contributions both by the IGF research fellows, research associates and by a network of external researchers.

The objective of the Institute of Global Finance (IGF) is to promote research and policy discourses on the following four key themes: Global Governance, Global Financial Stability, Global Prosperity and Interconnectedness and Systemic Risk. It encourages high quality quantitative and qualitative research and facilitates discussion and dissemination of research by organizing seminars and conferences. The IGF Research Paper Series aims at promoting high-quality research. The series features contributions both by the IGF Research Associates and by a network of its collaborators and its associate researchers.
