In cooperation with International Energy Agency Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG), the Energy Research Network (EnergyRN) is pleased to announce the 15th Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies Conference 2020 (GHGT-15) eJournal. This eJournal is available to all subscribers at no charge and contains abstracts of the meeting papers with links to the full text in the SSRN eLibrary.
The Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT) conference series was formed in 1997 following the merger of the earlier series of ICCDR and the Greenhouse Gas: Mitigation options conference.
The IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG) is the guardian of the conference series which is held every two years in IEAGHG's member countries. The conference series rotates between North America, Europe and Asia.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the scheduled GHGT-15 conference for October 2020 was postponed to March 2021 and held for the first time as a virtual event. The virtual conference was attended by more than 950 delegates from over 40 countries. The conference took place over 4 days and was made up of 71 sessions in a 7 stream parallel program that included over 500 oral and poster presentations. The presentations delivered at the GHGT-15 conference are now shown here on the SSRN GHGT-15 proceedings platform in their full paper format, providing in-depth detail and acknowledgement of all authors and affiliations in the work presented.
The GHGT conference series is recognised as the principal international conference on greenhouse gas mitigation technologies especially on CCS (Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage). We thank all our contributors and the hosts Khalifa University for their hard work in helping us to deliver a successful 15th event in the conference series.
