Arab World English Journal (AWEJ) is a refereed, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal. AWEJ welcomes original and unpublished research on the following topics but is not limited to applied linguistics, CALL, TESL, TEFL, sociolinguistics, language learning and teaching, discourse analysis, pragmatics, semiotics, literacy, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, English globalization, second language acquisition, task-based language teaching, and assessment. AWEJ is an open-access international e-journal that seeks to collect, organize, and disseminate information and research on the new trends of the English language in and beyond the Arab World regardless of nationality. AWEJ is a quarterly journal (four issues a year: March, June, September, and December).
Arab World English Journal for Translation and Literary Studies (AWEJ-TLS) is a refereed, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal. It is an open-access international e-journal for professors, scholars, and officials of translation and literary studies in and beyond the Arab World. AWEJ-TLS is devoted to publishing high-quality original articles in the field of translation and literature and related disciplines such as language studies, culture, communication, civilization, media etc. AWEJ-TLS welcomes papers dealing with translation issues; theoretical reflections on translation, translation, and challenges of globalization, interpreting studies, literary criticism, critical theory, stylistics, comparative literature, the relationship between visual material and translated textual material, etc.... AWEJ-TLS aims to promote analytical studies in these two important fields. AWEJ-TLS is a quarterly journal (four issues a year: February, May, August, and October).
