Earth Day Special Topic Hub

SSRN’s Earth Day Special Topic Hub highlights early-stage research addressing critical global challenges such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and habitat loss. Earth Day is celebrated each year on April 22 to promote environmental preservation and raise awareness, supporting activities that foster sustainability and environmental stewardship, and highlighting the importance of environmental education and research. This special topic hub presents insights from many disciplines that may inform the ongoing conversation on advancing Earth Day efforts by providing the scientific foundation needed to understand environmental challenges and develop effective solutions.

SSRN, Elsevier’s world-leading preprint platform devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of early-stage research, is committed to advancing societal progress through quality knowledge and education. Research on SSRN is free to download and upload.

It is important to note that many of these papers have not been edited or benefited from the pivotal role of peer-review, which validates and improves the quality of final published journal articles.
