Earth Day Research Hub

SSRN’s Earth Day Hub highlights early-stage research in support of this year’s theme: Invest In Our Planet. From the metallic core to the outer atmosphere, Earth is a masterpiece, and it is through our understanding of it that we can harness its resources, protect ourselves from its ferocity, and preserve it in the face of human activity.

Earth Day is widely recognized as the largest secular observance in the world, marked by more than one billion people every year as a day of action to change human behavior and provoke policy changes. Now, the fight for a clean environment continues with increasing urgency, as the devastating effects of climate change become more and more apparent every day.

SSRN, Elsevier’s world-leading platform devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of early-stage research, is committed to advancing societal progress through quality knowledge and education. Research on SSRN is free to download and upload. The research in this hub is curated from our Earth Science Research Network (EarthSciRN). Research on SSRN is free to download and upload.
