In cooperation with University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), the Computer Science Research Network (CompSciRN) is pleased to announce the Fifth International Conference on Next Generation Computing Technologies (NGCT) 2019 eJournal. This eJournal is available to all subscribers at no charge and contains abstracts of the meeting papers with links to the full text in the SSRN eLibrary.

We are happy to inform you that the 5th International Conference on Next Generation Computing Technologies (NGCT-2019) has been successfully organized under the aegis of the School of Computer Science and Engineering, UPES and IEI Uttarakhand State Center Dehradun. This international conference was co-sponsored by UCOST, RCPL, and SLOG Solutions. The conference was held on 20th and 21st December 2019. The theme of the conference was Computational Intelligence and Sustainability.

Prof. (Dr.) Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE - New Delhi, was the Chief Guest for the conference and Er. Narendra Singh, President-Elect IEI (India) Kolkota; Er. N.P.S. Brar, Chairman of Computer Engg. Division IEI; and Prof. (Dr.) Narendra S. Chaudhari, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor UTU were the Guest(s) of Honor. Prof. Amar Ramdane Cherif, Universite de Versailles Saint-Quentin, Versailles (UVSQ), France was the Special Guest for NGCT-2019.

Prof. S. J. Chopra, Hon'ble Chancellor-UPES, in the presence of Chief Guest, Guest(s) of Honor - Special Guest, Dr. Manish Prateek Dean SCS; Dr. Githa S. Heggde, Dean SoB; Er. A.K. Dinkar, Chairman IEI UKSC; Er. D.C. Arora, Hon. Secretary IEI UKSC; Prof. M.P. Jain, IEI UKSC; Dr. Amit Agarwal, Director APJ Abdul Kalam Institute of Tech. Tanakpur Uttarakhand - keynote speakers, all Heads SCS, Faculty Members and students inaugurated the conference on 20th December 2019.

We were fortunate to have eminent persons from academia and industry as the keynote speakers for the conference: Dr. Manolo Dulva HINA, Associate Professor in Computer Science, ECE Paris; Dr. Sudhan Majhi, Associate Professor, IIT Patna, Ph.D., NTU Singapore; Dr. Sudeep Tanwar, Visiting Professor Jan Wyzykowski University, Polkowice, Poland, University of Pitesti, Pitesti, Romania. The authors and participants got the chance to interact with our eminent keynote speakers and benefited from their expertise in the area.

In total, over 100 papers were submitted and 39 papers were accepted for presentation. We received papers from many countries like Russia, USA, Nigeria, and Lithuania.
