Central Bank of Malta Research Paper Series

The Bank's Working Paper series presents the results of research work carried out by its staff on topics related to the Bank's functions, notably economic and financial stability issues. They are considered to be "work in progress" and the views expressed are those of their authors. Apart from disseminating the results of the Bank's research, they are published to elicit comments and stimulate further discussion. The Bank's research is also published in slightly less-technical Policy Notes that contain short briefs on selected policy issues aimed at a wider audience.
