Center for the Study of Law & Religion (CSLR) Research Paper Series

The Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University produces interdisciplinary research, teaching, and public programming in the field of law and religion. CSLR's work is three-dimensional, focused on religious perspectives, legal perspectives, and interdisciplinary methods. Since 1982, CSLR has led the field of law and religion through the publication of path-breaking new scholarship, including over 350 books published from CSLR faculty and projects. CSLR is also home to important periodicals in the field: the Journal of Law and Religion and Canopy Forum. The Center for the Study of Law and Religion Research Paper Series highlights new and innovative scholarship from faculty and fellows at CSLR that advances the study of law and religion. The CSLR Research Paper Series also highlights excellent student work in the Emerging Scholars series.
