Non-Tenure-Track Faculty Position
The School of Accounting in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University is accepting applications for a Professor of Practice (either assistant or associate rank) to begin in fall 2018.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must have a record demonstrating excellence in teaching, preferably at both the undergrad and graduate levels, and the capacity to publish in refereed journals, maintaining the AACSB qualification of Scholarly Academic. Candidates who have very strong records of scholarship supported by extramural funding and who have the proven capacity or clear potential to bring externally sponsored research to Texas Tech University are encouraged to apply. Service duties including program-building and commitment to extra-curricular activities. Service to the School, College, and University is expected. Candidates must hold a doctorate (or must have earned a doctorate by August 2018) from an AACSB International accredited university. Professional experience in accounting and/or certification is strongly preferred.
Salary and benefits are highly competitive. The teaching load for this position is 3-3. Additional compensation is available for summer teaching. Funding also is available to support research, including conference travel.
