The Department of Accounting invites applications for two (2) full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty appointments (at assistant, associate or full professor) commencing September 1, 2017 to teach at both the New Jersey City University (NJCU) School of Business in Jersey City and Monmouth County, New Jersey campuses.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have an earned doctorate in Accounting or a related field, or provide evidence it will be fully completed within one year of the 2017-2018 academic year. Applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research and service. The successful applicant will be required to teach both basic and advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, will be expected to develop new programs and course offerings for the accounting department, and maintain scholarly engagement in their respective field. In extraordinary cases, as determined by the University, a terminal degree may not be required.

Candidates with a CPA and related work experience are preferred. Applicants with an interest and expertise in auditing; cost management; forensic accounting; financial statement analysis; business analytics and data science, and accounting information systems are encouraged to apply.
