Full Professor of Business Administration and Taxation

The University of Mannheim, Business School invites applications for the position of a Full Professor of Business Administration and Taxation (W3)

The position can be filled as of February 1, 2019. The professorship shall focus its research and teaching on the subject of business taxation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a proven track record of publications in top-tier academic journals, especially in the area of business taxation. Teaching obligations include all study programs of the School, in particular English-taught courses as well as the doctoral programs and executive education. The professorship will belong to the Area "Accounting and Taxation" of the University of Mannheim, Business School and it is expected that all taught classes and courses are jointly agreed upon within the Area "Accounting and Taxation".

The requirements for employment conform to S 47 Landeshochschulgesetz (LHG, state university law of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg). Applicants should have acquired a university degree, pedagogical qualification, a doctoral degree and additional academic achievements. These can be attested by a habilitation or through other equivalent academic achievements in positions outside the field of higher education.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The University of Mannheim places utmost importance on student support services. Hence, lecturers are required to be present and approachable at the university. In order to encourage the integration of university life into the regional surroundings, candidates are expected to be willing to relocate to the Rhine-Neckar Region.
