Assistant Professor of Accounting
We seek scholars at the Assistant Professor level to contribute to the environment of collaborative, multi-disciplinary research at the Fox School of Business (http://www.fox.temple.edu/about-fox/life-at-fox) at Temple University.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates should be ABD or hold a Ph.D. or equivalent by September 1, 2018, and have the potential for excellence in scholarship, teaching and collegial service. Researchers in all areas of Accounting are encouraged to apply for positions, starting July 2018 or later. Although we prefer Assistant Professors, candidates at higher ranks can be considered if they meet our needs. Salary, benefits and teaching loads are highly competitive. Invitations for campus visits will be issued in fall 2017 for senior candidates and in December 2017 for junior candidates.

ABOUT THE AREA: Philadelphia, the only UNESCO World Heritage City in the U.S., is the country's fifth largest city with a high concentration of cultural, sports, dining, historic, and other attractions, as well as easy international access. It is close to New York, Baltimore, and Washington D.C., yet living costs are low for a major U.S. city. Pharmaceuticals, medical care facilities, IT, financial services, and university education have a significant presence in Philadelphia, providing many opportunities for research, interaction with businesses, and employment for spouses.
