Toscano Family Chair in Finance
The Finance Department in the School of Business at the University of Connecticut invites applications for the Toscano Family Chair in Finance starting in the fall of 2018, with the rank of Full Professor. The department has grown substantially in the recent past, and the Chair continues that growth. The department boasts a collegial atmosphere for high-quality research and receives generous support from the school. The University's location close to Hartford, Boston, and New York offers many living and recreation options.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Finance or in a finance-related field of study, a national and international reputation for top-level scholarly research in Finance, and an excellent record of teaching at undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. levels.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: An active pipeline of research projects for submission and under revision at the top finance journals, experience teaching graduate courses in Financial Economics, and a record of service to the university and finance field. Research or experience with private equity and innovation financing is a plus.
APPOINTMENT TERMS: This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position with an anticipated start date of August 23, 2018. Salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
