Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting

Cass Business School is a global business school committed to academic excellence located in central London. The accounting group (http://www.cass.city.ac.uk/faculties-and-research/centres/ag) in the Faculty of Finance of Cass Business School invites applications for position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting starting in Autumn 2018. The accounting group intends to strengthen its research and education provision by appointing a candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding teaching skills, and indications of potential to publish in world-leading or internationally-excellent journals (lecturer) or track record of high-calibre publications (senior lecturer).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a PhD degree in accounting. PhD students close to graduation may also apply. Candidates for the lecturer post should show a developing record of research with a high potential of publishing in world-leading and internationally excellent journals and the capability of effective teaching. For senior lecturer post, a track recorded of excellence in research and teaching is expected. Teaching-track candidates must have a track record of outstanding teaching and/or professional experience to support the application.

Delegates of the group will attend the EAA Talent Workshop at Madrid to meet with interested candidates. Official review of applications will begin from 26 November 2017. Applications received after that date will be considered if the post remains unfilled. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to visit Cass for interview and seminar presentation in Spring 2018.
