Assistant or Associate Professor Positions

The Stan Ross Department of Accountancy at Baruch College of the City University of New York invites applications for tenured or tenure-track assistant or associate professor positions, with an appointment date of fall of 2018.

We are seeking applications in all areas of accounting, including financial and managerial accounting, taxation, auditing (internal and external) and accounting information systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for senior positions should have a completed Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent, a record of excellent scholarship, and demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

Applicants for junior positions must have a completed Ph.D. prior to the appointment date and exhibit strong potential for and commitment to high quality research and teaching. Preference will be given to applicants with experience or interest in data analytics or online/hybrid teaching. The ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution is also required.
