Assistant Professor of Accounting
The Accounting Faculty group in the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University in Houston, Texas, invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of accounting, with a preference for PhD candidates entering the academic job market for the first time. The appointment will be made at the rank of assistant professor to begin on July 1, 2018.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate is expected to produce high-quality research in the area of accounting that results in publication in top journals in the field. A strong commitment to master's and Ph.D. education is also expected.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Accounting or related field by July 1, 2018 or will be appointed as acting assistant professor for one year.
