Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

The Culverhouse College of Commerce at the University of Alabama is seeking candidates for a potential opening for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Culverhouse School of Accountancy. Primary duties include teaching accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in articles in outstanding scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned and approved for the level of appointment. We also offer the opportunity to work with doctoral students. The position will start August 16, 2018.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applications are invited from candidates who have completed their Ph.D. or firmly expect to receive their Ph.D. by August 16, 2018.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with a new PhD or experienced Assistant / Associate professors with an established research record and teaching experience will be considered. Candidates who have expertise in analytics and/or with a record of externally-funded research are strongly encouraged to apply. The search is open to all areas of teaching and research.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with rank and experience.
