The SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University invites applications for two full-time tenure-track Professor positions in our Accounting Area in Ithaca, with a start date of July 1, 2018. The intent is to place these hires in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants with a Ph.D. (defended or ABD) in Accounting or a related field. Our preference is for candidates who are at the entry or experienced Assistant Professor level who would be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor. Faculty with more experience may be considered for appointment at the Associate or Full Professor Ranks.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the positions include research in area(s) of expertise, teaching basic and advanced courses in management at the BS, MPS, MBA, EMBA and/or Ph.D. levels, supervision of doctoral candidates, and service to the Area, School, and College. We will be interviewing candidates at the AAA Rookie Camp in Miami, but candidates must also apply to Cornell directly through Academic Jobs Online. ABOUT THE COLLEGE: The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1, 2016) combines three Schools. The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). Faculty members in the Accounting Area conduct research on diverse topics using a variety of research methods. This faculty position is based in Ithaca, NY. Most teaching will take place at the Ithaca campus, with the potential for some teaching at the new Cornell Tech or Weill Cornell Medical College campuses in New York City, or the Executive MBA campus in Palisades, NY.
