Faculty Position in Accounting

The Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia seeks outstanding candidates for one position in Accounting (Rank: tenure-track assistant professor).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to research and scholarship through high quality publications, and help guide research efforts in their areas of expertise. In addition to research, individuals will be expected to teach appropriate courses at the undergraduate, and graduate levels, and participate in outreach and service activities.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in managerial accounting or financial accounting, and/or auditing. The candidate will also be expected to actively participate in service to the university community. Applicants should have a PhD degree in accounting or a related business field (although ABD near completion will be considered). Professional designation and experience in teaching accounting at the post-secondary level would be an asset.

We have programs at the Undergraduate, Masters, Ph.D. and Executive levels, including Canada's first Executive MBA program.
