Probationary Tenure-Track Faculty - Accounting

The Goodman School of Business invites applications for up to two (2) probationary tenure-track positions in the Faculty of Accounting beginning July 1, 2018. The position rank may be at the Assistant or Associate level, depending upon qualifications. The availability of the position is subject to final budgetary approval.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution completed or near completion is required. Previous academic experience and professional accounting designation are desirable. We seek candidates with the potential for excellence in teaching and research and especially encourage candidates with public accounting auditing experience and those interested in teaching Assurance to apply. This probationary tenure-track position requires quality research, teaching and service.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL: The Department of Accounting has 32 full-time faculty members and is part of the Goodman School of Business, which has approximately 100 full-time members. We offer a full range of graduate and undergraduate programs, both research and professionally oriented: Master of Accountancy, Master of Professional Accounting, Master of Science with an Accounting stream, Master of Business Administration with CPA pathway, Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration with an optional Accounting stream. Co-op options are available in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
