The School of Law has achieved a high level of excellence in the quality of its faculty, students, administration, and staff. We seek to build on our standing as one of the leading public law schools in the United States through recruitment of a Chairholder with a well-established national or international reputation for excellence in scholarship and teaching.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The University of Alabama School of Law seeks to recruit a Tweedy Chairholder who has made substantial and important contributions to the person's primary field of legal scholarship on a sustained basis and is widely-recognized as a leading scholarly figure in that field.
