Robert C. Brown Chair in Finance

The Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University seeks candidates for the Robert C. Brown Chair in Finance, beginning fall 2018.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Supported by an endowment of $2.5 million, the Brown Chair holder must have a proven record of publishing research in the top finance outlets and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Candidates who have very strong records of scholarship supported by extramural funding and who have the proven capacity or clear potential to bring externally sponsored research to Texas Tech University are encouraged to apply. Experience working with diverse student populations and first-generation students is highly desirable. Service duties include programbuilding, as well as commitment to extra-curricular activities. Service to the department, college, and university is expected.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Finance or a related field and have a record consistent with appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor of Finance at Texas Tech University.
