Associate or Full Professor of Finance with Specialization in Risk Management

The Finance Division of the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, is in an ambitious, multi-year period of growth and renewal. As part of this expansion, applications are invited for a full-time position as Associate or Full Professor of Finance beginning August 2018.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this position, all candidates must have the Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or a related discipline, a strong publication record and international reputation for high quality research especially in risk management, and superior teaching skills. The Finance Division is positioning itself to play an active role in the new OU National Institute for Strategic Risk Decision Making and Resiliency, including through the creation of a Risk Management Center housed within the Finance Division. The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership for these efforts and help support the Division's strategic curriculum expansion into the risk management area. Working with the OU National Institute and other university-wide interdisciplinary risk management initiatives, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to build external research partnerships and engage in research funded by external federal and state agencies, as well as companies and foundations. The appointment will be made at the level of associate or full professor, and will include an endowed chair for suitably qualified candidates. Salary will be competitive.
