Senior Economist and Research Analyst

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is seeking to add staff within The Office of the Chief Economist located in Washington, DC, or possibly New York, New York. The roles include: Senior Economist and Research Analyst.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Some of the job duties are listed below depending on the role:
- Engage in statistical, econometric and financial analysis to evaluate the risks, costs and impacts of market practice and regulatory alternatives
- Assist with establishing a defined process and in support of a variety of department needs across FINRA
- Identify, collect, organize and analyze data in pursuit of the mission of the Office of the Chief Economist while providing technical and administrative leadership in delivering solutions to regulators.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree in Economics or related field, and in some cases a master's degree or PHD will be required.
