Announcing Paris December 2016 Finance Meeting EUROFIDAI - AFFI - ESSEC eJournal

In cooperation with EUROFIDAI (European Financial Data Institute), AFFI (French Finance Association), and ESSEC Business School, the Financial Economics Network (FEN) is pleased to announce the Paris December 2016 Finance Meeting eJournal. This eJournal is available to all subscribers at no charge and contains abstracts of the conference papers with links to the full text in the SSRN eLibrary.

The 14th Paris December Finance Meeting is organized each year in downtown Paris before Christmas by EUROFIDAI (European Financial Data Institute) with the participation of AFFI (French Finance Association) and ESSEC Business School.

In 2016, 317 papers were submitted for presentation at the meeting and only one out of 5 papers was accepted, indicating rigorous selection criteria. The Paris December Finance Meeting is one of the top 3 European conferences in terms of the quality of the papers presented.

The best conference paper award was given to Matthew Darst (Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System) and Ehraz Refayet (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Department of Treasury) for their paper "Credit Default Swaps in General Equilibrium: Spillovers, Credit Spreads, and Endogenous Default".
