Authors are invited to submit research papers for the Federal Reserve/Maryland Short-Term Funding Markets Conference to be held at the University of Maryland's Washington, DC campus on April 6, 2018.

Paper Submission Deadline: December 1, 2017

CONFERENCE DETAILS: The conference is co-organized by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the University of Maryland's Center for Financial Policy. The goal of the conference is to bring together academics and policymakers to discuss research in short-term funding markets, broadly de ned. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to money market mutual funds, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, repurchase agreements, securities lending, funding of national institutions, maturity and liquidity transformation, shadow banking, financial intermediaries, money creation and runnable liabilities, and the regulation of short-term funding markets.

The conference will partially subsidize travel and lodging expenses for presenters.
