The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Accounting area, commencing July 1, 2018.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to applicants with teaching interests in Auditing, Taxation and Financial Accounting at the advanced level. Having a professional accounting designation would be an asset. Applicants for the position must meet the minimum qualification of a PhD in Accounting or expected completion of a PhD in Accounting within one year. In addition to exhibiting the potential for a high level of teaching competence at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, applicants must also demonstrate an interest in conducting quality scholarly research and the ability to publish in high quality academic journals.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL: The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics has over one hundred full-time faculty and more than five thousand undergraduate and graduate students on campuses at Waterloo and Brantford, and locations in Toronto. The Finance area at Wilfrid Laurier University has a strong research focus and was ranked third among Canadian schools for research productivity.
