Professor of Accounting

The School of Accountancy in the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business at Auburn University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Professor (Full) of Accounting, contingent upon final budget approval, to begin Fall 2018.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess a doctorate in accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution. We seek candidates with research and teaching experience in the audit area. Candidates must demonstrate strong research credentials commensurate with the Professor rank, including evidence of research impact and leadership in the field. Further, candidates must demonstrate the ability to advance the School's mission through continuing high-quality research and publication in top-tier journals, as well as excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time of the appointment and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates with professional certification are desired.
