This eJournal distributes working and accepted paper abstracts focused on the study of politics and policy at the state, local, special district, metropolitan, province, Lander, or canton levels; anything that is sub-national. Submissions also may address federalism and the relationship between levels of government. This category will include work that focuses on direct democracy; the interaction of governments; the development of compacts and cross-border agreements.
