Work posted under Social and Political Philosophy will have a primary focus on topics of ongoing debate about the conceptual, meta-theoretical or normative issues concerning social and political entities, their norms, and their institutions. Submissions will be collected in topical subcategories, rather than in categories reflecting a particular type of social or political theory. Papers in explication, defense or criticism of particular types of theories or ways of approaching topics in social and political philosophy may be posted under Metatheory, Methodology, Standpoint Theory. Papers with a primary focus on topics in the history of philosophy, or in ethics, may also appear in those other categories.
