This journal posts working papers as well as papers accepted for publication that analyze negotiation processes, including but not limited to communication processes. Negotiation processes include the use of verbal and non-verbal behaviors while negotiating transactions or resolving disputes. These processes can be examined in a variety of ways (e.g., in terms of frequencies, sequences, phases, or stages). Research papers can be either field or laboratory studies. Media of negotiation and communication can also be studied (e.g. written, email, verbal, face-to-face). Theory papers are also encouraged.
