The above part-time (0.5FTE) permanent post is available as of the 1st September 2016 in the University of Exeter Business School and will be recruited at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

To further strengthen our research and teaching activities we are therefore seeking to appoint a motivated, dynamic and collegiate academic to join our Management department as either a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer.
HOSPITALITY AND EVENTS MANAGEMENT: The Business School is one of a few Russell Group institutions with a specialism in Hospitality and Events Management which it is seeking to expand. It has an international reputation for the quality of teaching and research.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for the Lecturer post should have PhD, or be nearing completion in Hospitality or Events or a closely related subject area, with experience in, or the ability to teach an area within Hospitality or Events. They will have a strong record in attracting research funding, or demonstrable potential to attract such funding. They must also be able to demonstrate awareness of impact in higher education.
Applicants for the Senior Lecturer post should have a PhD in Hospitality or Events or a closely related discipline, as well as sufficient knowledge in Hospitality and/or Events to develop teaching and research programmes. We are particularly interested in applicants with a demonstrable track record of participating in research with high impact.

SALARY: The salary for Lecturer will be from British Pound 33,574 to 41,255 pro rata per annum on Grade F and the salary for Senior Lecturer will be from British Pound 41,255 to 55,389 pro rata per annum.
