The University of Mannheim Business School is inviting applications for the position of a Professor of Procurement

JOB DESCRIPTION: The position is non-tenured and is initially available for five years. Given successful performance, a prolongation of the position is intended. Applicants are sought on a full-professor level (W3) with a research interest focusing on procurement, purchasing, and supply management. Appointment will start by the fall semester of 2014 or earlier.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in supply management, operations, or a related discipline and a demonstrated ability to conduct high-level research publishable in premier academic journals. The research agenda should have practical relevance. The School also expects a commitment to high quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Experience in executive teaching is welcomed. All courses may be taught in English.
