Professor of Entrepreneurship and Technology Management
The University of St. Gallen, Switzerland - a leading
university in Business Administration, Economics, Law and
Social Sciences - seeks to appoint a Professor of
Entrepreneurship and Technology Management by February 1,
2010 or by another mutually agreed date.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The holder of the position will provide direction in and
show commitment to developing the subject matter of the
"Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence." He/she will
thereby play a key role in strengthening the new
interdisciplinary focus of the center. He/she will also be
active in teaching, research and the advanced programs of
the University of St. Gallen and will occupy a leading
position on the Executive Committee of the Institute of
Technology Management (ITEM-HSG). The research conducted by
the institute includes start-up management, venture
capital, high-tech entrepreneurship, business incubators,
corporate venturing and the management of technology-
intensive companies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
We are seeking someone with a level of qualification
equivalent to that of the habilitation, an internationally
recognized record of research, good teaching ability and,
ideally, with business leadership experience.
Depending on the age, teaching experience and record of
academic performance of the candidate, the position can be
occupied as a full or associate professorship. Applications
