     The Business School of the University of Mannheim is
     seeking to fill the W-3 professorship at the Chair of
     Business Administration and Production Management
     (succession of Prof. Dr.Dr. h.c. Peter Milling).



     JOB DESCRIPTION:


     The chair holder represents the field of Production
     Management in research and teaching within the Area
     Operations Management. Emphasis should be placed on topics
     regarding the design and planning of production systems in
     the context of supply chain management. Publications in
     international top-rank magazines as well as practical
     orientation of research activities are expected. Teaching
     responsibilities include participation in the School's
     degree programs as well as involvement at the Center for
     Doctoral Studies in Business. Moreover, the assumption of
     teaching responsibilities at Mannheim Business School is
     expected. The School also wishes that courses are aligned
     with adjacent chairs.



     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


     According to S65 UG (State University Law) of the state
     Baden-Wuerttemberg, applicants should have completed their
     habilitation (professorial qualification) or otherwise be
     able to demonstrate equivalent academic achievements and
     pedagogic aptitude.
