                   Faculty Position in Management


     With more than 50 years of experience, the School of
     Business at the PUCV is a leading institution in Management
     and Administration in Chile. We have a five-year
     undergraduate program in Business Administration with solid
     theoretical and applied foundations in Management, Finance,
     Marketing and Economics, among other areas. We also have
     Full Time and Executive MBAs programs.


     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     We are currently hiring for the Academic year 2008 an
     Assistant Professor in Management with emphasis in Human
     Resources (full-time tenured track) who will conduct
     research and teach at undergraduate and MBA level. The
     applicants must have a sound research agenda and should be
     able to teach in the broad field of Human Resource
     Management.

     We offer a competitive salary for Chilean Universities and
     relocation funding. Teaching at MBA or other programs are
     compensated separately.


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     Applicants must have PhDs in a relevant field and show a
     record of teaching excellence. They also must have a
     research agenda and show ability to conduct research.
     Candidates are expected to work in their teaching and
     research activities with other faculty members. Fluency in
     oral and written Spanish is required. Fluency in oral and
     written English is desirable.
