CALL FOR PAPERS
SYMPOSIUM
"ANALYSIS AND CREATIVE PROPOSALS FOR FACING
THE CHALLENGES OF THE NEW BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT"
October 15-16, 2009
Icesi University, Cali, Colombia
On the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary
of establishment of the School of Business and Economic
Studies at Icesi University and the 25th anniversary of its
academic journal Estudios Gerenciales, we are inviting all
the academic community to participate in this Symposium.
The question: how should we understand and study the new
business environment and what are the proposals to face the
challenges that it brings within? Will be answered from the
point of view of:
- Trade and international relationships
- Entrepreneurship
- Economics
- Finance
- Marketing
- Management
- Regulation
- Public Sector
INVESTMENT:
Students: $80.000/USD32
Professionals: $200.000/USD80
Payments before July 31, will receive a discount of 20
percent.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
If you want to participate with an article, that will be
presented as oral presentation during the days of the
Symposium, you must send an abstract of your paper (in
English or Spanish) and the submitting form for abstracts,
before July 11 to the Coordination of the Journal at:

Abstracts that are not submitting electronically will not
be considered you must request the submitting form for
abstracts to:

In subject, your mail must say:
Submitting an abstract, followed by the author's last
names. Ex: Submitting an abstract - Ramirez & Robledo. The
abstract must not be longer than three (3) pages. All the
files (abstract and submitting form for abstracts) must be
sent in PDF format.
