The Musicology eJournal is a comprehensive and exhaustive site for musicological research discussing music from Antiquity to the twenty-first century and genres ranging from Western art music to popular music - as well as research that bridges these periods and genres. This eJournal includes research, which utilizes different approaches, including philological investigation, style and repertoire analysis, performance practice, socio-cultural contextualization, gender study, and interdisciplinary inquiry. It also includes research that reflects on the state and direction of the discipline.
