Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Full or Visiting Professor or Chairs Positions

The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is inviting applications from outstanding candidates to fill academic positions at the ranks of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full or visiting Professor in select business and management areas in Marketing or chairs positions: The Husni A. Sawwaf Chair in Business Management (any discipline)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for Assistant Professorship positions should have a doctorate from an AACSB accredited school or equivalent, and a promising research record or evidence of a strong research potential in one or more of the areas listed above. Applicants for Associate and Full Professorships should have a track record of commensurate research and teaching achievements. Successful candidates will be expected to conduct research at the forefront of their field and to teach at the undergraduate, the MBA and the Executive MBA levels. Applications should consist of a letter of application, a current CV, sample copies of publications and three letters of recommendation. Applications should be received by January 15, 2014 for appointment in the Fall of the academic year 2014-2015.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Applicants for chairs must have international academic renown in his/her field. Typically, such a candidate will be a highly accomplished and recognized researcher in his/her field, and a thought leader, with a proven track record in teaching, and professional service as well. Chair Professors will be expected to spearhead a strong research program, mentor junior faculty members, and engage in teaching on one or more of the BBA, MBA, EMBA programs, as well as optionally contributing to executive education.
