Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Marketing

The Graduate School of International Management (GSIM) at the International University of Japan (IUJ) intends to make a faculty appointment to begin in academic year 2013/2014 or earlier in Marketing. Those candidates with teaching and research experience in Consumer Behavior, Marketing Strategy, Product/Brand Management, or Marketing Research/Analytics will be given priority.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must be capable of teaching MBA-level courses in English, and have the capability to teach Marketing Management plus two elective courses in the Marketing field. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field by the time of appointment; should have a demonstrated research agenda and teaching excellence, and must be student-oriented, enjoy participating in collaborative research activities with academic rigor and high impact executive insights.

SALARY/BENEFITS: A contract-based compensation is commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience within the range for this title (starting from 6,500,000 - 7,000,000JPY for the Assistant Professor level). GSIM offers research funding as well as a four course per academic year teaching load. IUJ subscribes to major U.S.JPN databases such as LexisNexis, Compustat, Datastream, etc. Based on experience and interest, additional teaching opportunities are also available in the growing executive education programs. The position offered is expected to commence in April 2014.
