Research Fellows - Centre for Health Initiatives
The Centre for Health Initiatives (CHI) is a Research Strength of the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Wollongong (UOW). CHI undertakes a range of research initiatives across three key streams, with a particular focus on research that improves the health and well-being of the community.
DESCRIPTION: We are currently seeking applications for a Research Fellow (ref: 24172) with with a proven track record in the area of physical activity and/or healthy lifestyles to join our dynamic research team. The Research Fellow will be responsible for preparing applications for funding through nationally competitive grant schemes (ARC/NHMRC) building on the expertise of academic staff in CHI and their own previous research. They will also manage other funded research projects, be responsible for coordinating and conducting various research activities, and participate actively in the advancement of CHI through the publication of research outcomes in relevant academic journals. We are also seeking expressions of interest for similar research positions at a variety of levels (in the areas of social marketing and health behaviour change) that may become available over the next 12 months and would like to hear from you.
